What Colour Is Your Parachute?

"I would like a job or career best if I was surrounded by people who are investigative, observant, love to solve problems; who are also artistic, imaginative & creative; and who are best on trying to enlighten people and are skilled with words."

This was the analysis obtained when I did a series of tests on the book "What Colour Is Your Parachute?" 1-2 years back.

I have been searching and pursuing, tried all the hard ways and begged for opportunities but still, no avail. When I was just about to abandon my pursuit, it came knocking on my door.

I think I found my cuppa tea, which I'm happy with. At least for now.

Significance of Ugliness

I was having coffee talk with Kar couple of hours ago and our conversation went:

Kar: “most of the guys like bimbos”

Me:”ofcoz ah, guys are visual animals. Even for you, would you choose an ugly or a handsome boyfriend who both treats you equally well?”

Kar:”How ugly is ugly?”

Me:”Let says a guy who looks like ‘YOYOYO’ (name has been changed to protect privacy) and a guy who looks like…………………………..

(
I pondered for quite some time, mentally scanning through the faces of our common guy friend’s and we both laughed agreeing we got no handsome friends)

ok, let’s say Andy Lau. Both treats you equally well, who will you choose?”

Kar:”Andy Lau lah.”

Alright. The main highlights here are neither Bimbos nor Hunks. But when I was walking towards the bus stop, I have the sudden thought of me being so mean pointing out to our friend, ‘YOYOYO’, immediately when I thought of the term, ugliness. In fact, I can’t really say he’s ugly but he’s just lacking of personal hygiene and self-consciousness.

I was thinking if I am the first ‘candidate’ to pop up in a person’s mind when he/she mention about ‘ugliness’, I’ll be damn sad and hurt.

I felt so mean. I felt so sorry. But seriously, ‘YOYOYO’ needs some grooming guidance.
